Kwolok is a character in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. A giant toad, Kwolok is called "Lord of the Marsh" or "Guardian of the Marsh" and described by The Moki as kind and helpful. Kwolok dwells in Kwolok's Hollow, near Inkwater Marsh.
Kwolok helps Ori advance in the main quest. He tell Ori that in order to get to Silent Woods, they must first clean the waters by cleansing The Wellspring. Later, he helps Ori finding Strength of the Forest in Luma Pools. After he finds it, he becomes corrupted by "foul presence", which previously resided in The Wellspring, and Ori has to fight him.
After Ori releases him from the darkness and he crushes the horrid creature, Kwolok says only Ori can save the light and asks to take care of The Moki and this land. He then vanishes as he passes on from his injuries.
