Which Ori game do you like better and why?
I liked the Blind Forest's music, it was more simple, and the game itself had less characters. In Will of the Wisps, they had Moki talking everywhere with faster music (Inkwater Marsh), kind of ruining the solemnness of the game, along with the other creatures. And even though the world of Will of the Wisps was much bigger then the other, whenever I play Blind Forest, it would feel larger, and the backgrounds combined with the music sometimes sent chills down my spine, yet Will of the Wisps couldn't give me the same feeling, and it's world felt small and more friendly, perhaps because of the characters everywhere. I kind of liked the hollow feeling in Blind Forest, but I also liked the Moki and the combat in Will of the Wisps, so it's very hard to decide... If I had to choose, my favorite would be Blind Forest.
Good points. It’s a very tough decision for me too, though I would have to say I like Will Of The Wisps a little better. I actually liked the larger variety of characters and all the side missions. Plus as emotional as the first game was, the second just really had its moments for me. I did like the soundtrack for WOTW just a bit more, too. I guess I just found myself drawn into the story more. Can totally agree with you too though!
WotW is currently the best game I've ever played
That’s my current favorite game of all time too :)
My favorite is Ori and the Will of the Wisps because we are given side quests and there are more characters to meet.
Will of the wisps
Will of the wisps is awesome but the ginso tree was some crazy *quack*
No checkpoints in ginso tree escape
It was HELL
HELL I SAY
I actually died the most in there
I died more In the ruins.
If I had to choose, I'd say WotW. The bosses give it more of a challenging background while keeping the awesome escapes and sometimes they mash them up to create an awesome boss like I mash up mosquitoes with a giant hammer, What I'm saying is WotW Really Opens up the combat. The platforming is great too, with grapple, launch, and much more, it is pretty challenging. And If you get stuck on a boss or the platforming keeps killing you, you can always use your shards. I just can't say the same for Blind Forest.
